1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. Similar technologies include localStorage, pixels and SDKs. In this policy "cookies" covers all of them.
2. How we use them
We only set strictly necessary cookies by default. These are exempt from consent under PECR regulation 6(4) because the site cannot work without them, or because they provide a service you explicitly request (such as remembering your theme).
Analytics and marketing cookies are only set if you opt in. We do not use "legitimate interests" as a basis for non-essential cookies, we do not use cookie walls, and rejecting is as easy as accepting.
3. Cookies we use
| Name | Category | Purpose | Duration | Party |
|---|---|---|---|---|
nuxt-session | Strictly necessary | Keeps you signed in to the dashboard (encrypted, HTTP-only) | Session / up to 7 days | First |
ingrintel_consent | Strictly necessary | Stores your cookie choices and when you made them | 6 months | First |
ingrintel-theme | Strictly necessary (preference you request) | Remembers your light / dark / system theme (localStorage) | Until cleared | First |
ingrintel-compare | Strictly necessary (feature you request) | Remembers ingredients you queued for comparison (localStorage) | Until cleared | First |
Analytics (consent only)
We currently do not run any analytics tools. If we introduce privacy-friendly analytics, they will only load after you consent, and this table will be updated before they go live.
Marketing (consent only)
We currently set no marketing cookies. Any future campaign-measurement tags (for example LinkedIn Insight) will only load with your consent and will be listed here.
4. Managing your choices
- Use the Your choices form above, or the Cookie settings link in every page footer, to change or withdraw consent at any time. Withdrawing deletes the relevant cookies we can access.
- We ask again every 6 months, or sooner if we add new categories of cookies.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings — see the ICO's guidance. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent sign-in.
