Is there really a free plan?
Yes. Solo costs nothing, with 30 searches per month and full access to CoFID 2021 nutrition data. No card required.
Can I change or cancel my plan?
Any time, from your dashboard. Upgrades apply immediately; downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.
Are prices inclusive of VAT?
Prices are shown exclusive of VAT, which is added at the applicable UK rate at checkout.
Where does your data come from?
Nutrition data is McCance and Widdowson's Composition of Foods Integrated Dataset (CoFID 2021), published under the Open Government Licence. Recall and allergy alerts come live from the Food Standards Agency. Open Food Facts and functional protein data are coming soon.
What does "coming soon" mean?
Those features are in development. They aren't part of what you pay for today, and we'll announce them to customers when they launch. If one matters to your decision, talk to us first.
Do you offer academic or non-profit pricing?
Yes — universities, research institutions and registered charities can request discounted access via our contact page.
How do you handle our data?
We are a UK-registered company operating under UK GDPR. Customer formulation data is never sold or used to train models shared with other customers. See our Privacy Policy and DPA.
